Tite is turning Brazil into a force

The Brazilian national football team is going through a revival after being humiliated back on 2014 when losing 1-7 against Germany as they lost the FIFA World Cup of that specific year. Brazil also went on to lose 0-3 after having faced off with Netherlands as they failed to even secure the 3rd spot.

These strings of defeats were a huge disappointment for Brazil as they were hosting that edition of the FIFA World Cup and expectations were high for Neymar along with his squad to showcase their talents but failed to do it in a very unmemorable fashion. (more…)

Neymar is certain that Brazil is the best national side

The €222 million man of Paris Saint-Germain did not hold back in voicing his thoughts concerning the Brazilian national side as he talked earlier in the year about the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup as well as the chances that Brazil has on winning it.

¨There was never a dependency on Neymar. This is Brazil. If focused, our team is the best. We know this, we are humble enough to respect our adversaries, and we have to play. Sometimes one part or the other didn’t fit but the coach Tite arrived and made adjustments¨

“We only learn when we get hurt or do something wrong. I already argued unnecessarily. I got yellow and red cards, harmed myself, harmed my teammates. But time makes us more mature. Nowadays I only think about playing football, I am better in every aspect,” Neymar said.

These statements were released by the 25 year old Brazilian attacker back on March of 2017 as he was talking about his own self-improvements and the Brazilian national side.

Even though Brazil are hands down one of the best national sides in the world in terms of football and titles won, they have not been so dominant in recent times and this especially evident by the 1-7 defeat that Brazil suffered in the 2014 FIFA World Cup against Germany. This was their biggest ever defeat at the World Cup and 1st home loss in a competitive match in over 35 years. (more…)

BRAZILIAN TALENTS SCOUTED AT BH CUP

Premier League sides have reportedly sent their top scouts to watch the talents at the Belo Horizonte Cup.

Archie Thompson finds Brazilian Football is Best than Rest of the World

Archie Thompson reckons the thing which distinguishes Brazilian Football from the rest of the world is the fact that they enjoy the game more than anyone else.

But, in the past few years, that wasn’t the case. The Brazilian team wasn’t as relaxed as they used to be and that’s probably why they suffered in terms of results, especially in big competitions. However with Tite’s arrival as coach, they are now back to their old selves and that’s reflecting in their recent results as they are cruising to easy wins.

Recalling a story of the past, Thompson says that once the Australian team had to play a World Cup game versus Brazil and he was a part of that Australian team. When he and his teammates departed from the hotel to the ground, everybody had a serious look on his face and everybody was thinking about the game only, but, when they reached the ground and left their bus, they saw the bus of the Brazilians standing there and the scenes in that bus were completely opposite to what the scenes were in the bus of the Aussies. The arrival of Tite has seen David Luiz being snubbed from Brazil

The 55 year old manager Tite took over the Brazilian national side on June of 2016 as he replaced Dunga who was fired and now it’s Tite’s task to start pushing Brazil forward and guide them to the qualification stages of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil is currently pitted at the top of the CONMEBOL group with 27 points out of their 12 matches that they have played so far at the time of writing this article. The Brazilian side is one the favorites of snatching the top spot and qualify for the upcoming worldwide football competition.

All of this is good news for supporters of Brazil as it seems like Tite has been doing a good job since taking over the national team almost 1 year ago.

Unfortunately for David Luiz, his time with Brazil has been diminishing as the 29 year old defender of Chelsea has not been called up ever since Tite arrived. (more…)

RONALDO NOT HAPPY WITH ‘FAT’ JOKES

Ronaldo Delima is not happy with the constant taunting of his current stature and the Brazil legend has voiced out his dissatisfaction.

When the former player reunited with his former teammates at the Santiago Bernabeu recently Newcastle legend Michael Owen took a jibe at him but Ronaldo did not ‘feel’ it at all.

Owen most likely intended to make a light joke when he tweeted: “I thought I was putting the pounds on until I saw my old mate Ronnie!”

Ronaldo did not take the issue lightly and he responded at the FIFA Best Player Award ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland, saying: “I am shocked as to how much importance my weight garners in the world we live in. I don’t know why it is so important, to be honest.” (more…)

CHAPECOENSE FANS GATHER FOR MEMORIAL

The bodies of the dead 71 people killed in the plane crash in Columbia are being returned home.

The Brazilian football team’s hometown is preparing for a memorial service in their honour. The planned memorial’s venue is the team’s stadium in Chapeco where more than 100,000 people are expected to attend.

Chapecoense had a fairy tale route to a regional final where they were flying to before the accident. Only six people survived the plane crash near Medellin – the venue for the final match. Top dignitaries in football will be at the memorial. President Michel Temer of Brazil is expected to be at the airport as the bodies arrive but is believed would miss the event at the stadium as rumours of a protest circulate. FIFA president Gianni Infantino and top football faces are expected at the event.

Hundreds of people lined up on the road, paying their final respect amidst free flowing tears as the bodies were taken to the airport in Medellin on Friday. Series of flights have been planned to the different countries of the victims.

Supporters of the Brazilian side held a vigil ahead of the memorial service. The bodies of the vctims are poised to be carried during a funeral procession through the city before ending up at the ceremony at the stadium. (more…)

Tite can push Brazil to World Cup success

Following a disappointing string of performances during the Copa America Centenario, Dunga was fired from his coaching position in the Brazilian national side and Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, better known as Tite was the man that was selected to usher in a new era for the Brazilian team.

Tite is not a very well-known manager in the spectrum of high-profile coaches. Throughout the entirety of his managerial career, he has been able to take charge of numerous Brazilian clubs and lifted many titles for those clubs but none of them are as competitive as the Champions League or other highly competed pieces of silverware that managers would give everything they have in order to secure it. Tite Reveals Reservations about Becoming Brazil Boss

Brazil boss Tite says that he had second thoughts about becoming the new boss of the national team.

After successive disappointments at the World Cup 2014 and the Copa America 2016, the national team was looking at a third manager in less than two years. Both the previous managers, though, were known to the nation from their spell previously and the decision this time was to give a new man the chance. Former Corinthians manager Tite has been a name mentioned as a potential national team boss even when Scolari was appointed a couple of years ago.

His ability to beat European Champions Chelsea in the final of the Club World Cup in Japan was a major factor in the stock of the 55-year-old raising considerably. He was in charge of Corinthians in two spells and was more successful in the first. Still, the decision was taken to appoint the manager. Tite, though, had his reservations since he had seen two extremely successful national team bosses – Scolari and Dunga – fail to bring glory days back to Brazil. The current crop of Brazilian talent was far away from success it seemed. However, Tite has taken over and Brazil have had a strong start to the World Cup 2018 campaign with two wins from the opening matches. (more…)

Silva back in the Brazil team

Thiago Silva will be given a chance to get back in the Brazil team by Tite. Silva was omitted from the squad by Dunga, and it now appears that the new Brazil coach wants to give the player a chance to get back in the team.

The player has been out of the team for more than a year and may now be available for selection in the match against Bolivia and Venezuela.

It was Dunga who gave Silva his chance in the Brazil team, and it was the same coach that refused to play him for more than a year. And now with the arrival of Tite at the head of the team, it appears that Silva will be getting the chance once again to represent Brazil at the highest level. (more…)
